5-6 Installing the Operating System

5. [Agree Software License Agreement] screen appears.

Read the license terms carefully. If you agree, select "I accept the license terms", and then

click [Next].

Installation starts by copying files. After a while, [Setup Wizard Completed] dialog

appears.

6. Click [Finish].

7. Reboot the system.

You can check if SNP has been successfully installed or not by running [Add or Remove Programs]

and view "Hotfix for Windows Server 2003 (KB912222)" is contained in the list.

If you want to restore the system to that before installing SNP, uninstall SNP in the following

procedure.

IMPORTANT: If any other modules (e.g., Update media, Service

Pack, and/or security patch) is applied after SNP has been installed,

first uninstall such modules before uninstalling SNP.

1. Log-in the system in account with the administrator authority.

2. Run [Add or Remove Programs].

3. Select the following item and click [Remove].

"Hotfix for Windows Server 2003 (KB912222)"

4. On the [Software Update Installation Wizard] dialog, click [Next].

Uninstallation of KB912222 starts. After a while, [Software Update Installation Wizard

Completed] dialog appears.

5. Click [Finish].

6. Reboot the system.

Installing Fibre Channel Controller Driver (N8403-018)

Refer to the User's Guide of CPU Blade to install the driver.
